[Talk-GB] affixing a GPS to a dashboard

Go the whole way and change the car!

My Garmin would lodge firmly between screen and dash on my old Volvo 850 but
I couldn't reach it to mark waypoints.

If I put it on RH side of instruments on the new V70 it not only stays put
but I can reach it to mark points and no sticky stuff or mounts required.
