I thought one of the ultimate goals of OSM was to have a routing  
application. One such example is a routing application for cyclists.  
If anyone knows of one, let me know. With the type of data being  
entered into OSM, this would be an ideal data source.

Has any work been done on creating a route planning application from  
the OSM data?
