These aren't sign-posted in the UK, so what source would you use to
map them? For example the E32 as described in Wikipedia here:

lists no source for the claim that it follows the A120 (the only EU
documents I can find only say Harwich-Colchester, so A120 seems
likely), nor for whether it goes to the Harwich freight only port in
old Harwich (which had lots of JCBs parked in the yard yesterday),
or the newer one at Parkeston that passengers would use (where the
railway station has been renamed to Harwich International rather
than Harwich Parkeston Quay).
I did once have a European road atlas that showed the E references
on the UK map too, but as it would be copyright haven't even looked
to see if I still have it since getting involved with OSM (though
the Parkeston bypass would be newer than that map anyway, I think).
