[Talk-GB] Hampshire: Volunteers needed for testing "FixMyPaths", a rights of way problem reporting app

Hi,

As you probably know, Hampshire County Council released its rights of way data in the summer. I have been developing a site (OpenHants, www.free-map.org.uk/openhants) which makes use of this data and also allows users to report path problems, which are sent on to the council.

I have also developed an Android app, "FixMyPaths" (see https://github.com/nickw1/Freemap/tree/master/android/openhants) which allows users to report problems in the field; it logs the data in my own database (exposed via an API) and sends the problem report on to the council. With the growing number of councils opening up their data I'm aiming to expand it beyond Hampshire.

What would be good though is to do some more testing of the app. Is there anyone in or near Hampshire that would be willing to volunteer testing it out (I will have an apk ready by then) in the field in one or other of the first two weekends in December?

Thanks,
Nick
