Making the blobs go green seems the most straightforward objective.

For checking postcodes a simple cross-check that the place is indeed within
a decent distance of the postcode centroid (the location given by FHRS) is
usually adequate. Most are correct or have minor inaccuracies, such as
accidental swapping of the last two letters of the in-code.

Given that we have so few postcodes on OSM my feeling is that the risk of
adding a few erroneously located ones is low compared by the increased
number.
