[Talk-GB] Motorhome Stopovers or Aires

+1 for this question.

I saw lots in the Highlands and Islands this summer. Have  asked OSM
Scotland on info at openstreetmapscotland.org <info at openstreetmapscotland.org> but
no reply as yet.

I saw signs in laybys both explicitly permitting and prohibiting overnight
stays by campervans.

(Related, there was one evidently de facto "wild " tent  campsite near
Portree - though hardly wild in practice, just loo-less)
