StreetComplete asks to check existing collection times but never existing box numbers.

Subject: Re: [Talk-GB] Post Box Last Collection Times
As SK53 has pointed out, it's been going on for years and is marked on the post box by the letter D after the reference number. I only realised this recently when wondering why the letter D now followed the reference number on several post boxes.
Here's a link to the explanation of this new delivery practice from Royal Mail
https://personal.help.royalmail.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/135/kw/post%20box/related/1
Regarding OSM, the collection times are present and should be still mapped, but I think it's now important to make sure the letter D is included as part of the reference number. I omitted the letter from the several I recently surveyed, and this is a reminder for me to go back and add a D.

Hi Everyone,
It has come to my attention that Royal Mail have changed the "Last
Collection Time" on most mailboxes in the UK. The boxes are being
emptied by postmen/women on their usual rounds, rather than by the Man
in a Van old method.
In my area most postboxes have changed to 9am MF, 7am Sat. I think this
is just them covering themselves because the postman never comes that
early around here, it's more like Noon. So they are just saying "we'll
empty it when we feel like it, sometime after 9am".
It seems to be recent in my area, The IOW was done in March 2020
(https://www.countypress.co.uk/news/18279532.postal-deadline-now-9am-isle-wight-letters-reveals-royal-mail/)
What are people's opinions regarding a mass change of data?
Should existing collection times be removed so they can be added again
by people doing surveys with apps?
Sorry if this has been covered before, I'm new to this mailing list and
couldn't find anything in the archive.
Thanks, Tim
