I seem to remember reading somewhere that is possible to come to an 
agreement that such income will be balanced out in later years.

On the other hand, my understanding is that for the best tax treatment 
it is important that the members don't have a right to the money. 
Normally you need articles that require anything left over to go to a 
similar organisation with a similar constraint.
