[Talk-GB] Fixing non-closed polygons in the United Kingdom

Hello everyone,



I'm Marjan from TomTom.

I would like to inform you of an editing project we are planning to execute in the United Kingdom. The aim is to fix non-closed polygons, i.e. cases where the tag on a way indicates that it is a polygon feature, but the way is not closed, or ways with the same role in a relation are not closed. We detect quality issues like this using public instances of OSM quality checking tools such as Atlas and Osmose in addition to internal validation. The non-closed polygons can be fixed in the following MapRoulette challenge:

This challenge already contains a selection of tasks that you can look into, and more will be added in the following day.
Our expert editors will start to work on these tasks in a few weeks.
