" I want to spend my OSM time contributing improvements to the OSM
database, not chasing up contributors who really should know better."
*So do the first bit and drop the second. *
Let others who are more patient take up that challenge
Everyone starts out here as a newbie (even GIS professionals who find OSM
methods strange) and we should be handholding and encouraging and
teaching, not berating them.
Constant criticism, with negative judgments and high expectations that
they'll get everything right first time only serve to demotivate people and
drive them away.
A lot of work by OSMUK directors went into persuading NT to use OSM, we
need to be patient and engage with them positively by welcoming their
involvement and not undo all that good work.
