[Talk-GB] Naming of sewage treatment works and other such infrastructure

I would put it in the data, yes. I'd also expand out the station example if
it was me too but appreciate that ship has sailed.

Suggesting renders append "(sewage)" doesn't make sense to me. For the many
cases where the sign already includes a suffix you'd then end up labelling
it something like "Flaxton Sewage Treatment Works (sewage)" which is silly.
It only makes sense for railway stations as:

1. often the building sign only states the city / town name (although this
is not the case for the new Coventry station as the sign there reads
"Coventry Station").
2. Railway station are pretty much always rendered with more than just the
name on a map. They tend to have a map icon. If they didn't sound you be
suggesting adding "(railway station)" in the render?!

P.s. this got me looking at other things. We have "Birmingham Airport" and
"London Heathrow Airport" in the database. Should we drop "Airport" from
those*? It would better represent what is on the ground; I distinctly
recall that the big sign on the approach reads "Welcome to Heathrow" and
not "Welcome to Heathrow Airport"!

* For the avoidance of doubt, that was a rhetorical question. I don't think
we should be dropping the word "Airport".

P.p.s. Am aware that Imagico has written a post on names. I've not read it
so no idea if it's a worthwhile read. Key thing for me is that almost all
things don't really have definitive names, instead they have descriptions
or brands (in the case of shop "names"). The exception seems to be where we
have one dominant organisation setting a standard - e.g. street names for
Royal Mail and Network Rail (or whoever, I lose track) setting the standard
for station naming.
