[Talk-GB] Primary road which isn't really a primary road

I have looked at the Mapillary (dated 2021) and Bing StreetView (dated
2020).
The signage indicates that the A374 is Exeter Street - Gdynia Way -
Embankment Road.
The signage indicates the A379 is from Roundabout (is this Cattedown
Roundabout as mentioned in Sabre
https://www.sabre-roads.org.uk/wiki/index.php?title=A374 ) - Exeter
Street - Embankment Road - Laira Bridge Road onwards.
The section of Embankment Street you are concerned about does not appear
to be an A road - there are no signs and the whole road layout appears
to be to stop traffic using Embankment Road as a main road. Sabre
suggests that the route changed in 2011 with the opening of Gdynia Way.
So I would call it a residential road - there are houses on one side.
From looking at the images the continuation Eastbound is not the A374
until the junction with Gdynia Way and should all be residential road.
I don't know the area but that is my opinion from photo sources which
are acceptable to OSM. Hope its helpful.
Regards
