[Talk-GB] Static caravan or chalet? Possible language issue?

Was the re-tag recent? I've just checked some of the holiday parks around here and one of the ones I checked was retagged in the same way, but about 2 years ago. Of the four I checked, there seems to be no standard though. There was the re-tagged one, two that are tourism=caravan_site and one that is just landuse=commercial.

I've extended my checks. Three re-tagged from caravan_site to chalet (all about three years ago), three still caravan_site and two just landuse=commercial.

I think all the caravan sites near here should have at least static_caravan=yes added, but you (James) mention something about "customer buildings" - does that make a difference to the tagging of the site? I think all have club houses/shops/bars/places to eat of some variety.
