[Talk-GB] The "public_transport" key (was: Tourist railway stations are not public transport)

(somewhat offtopic from the original question)

The entire "public_transport" key is somewhat iffy in the UK, for lots
of different reasons.  An overpass query for "public_transport" values
that are not anything else soon shows that:
https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/1HyG .

Among the issues are that all non-terminus railway and most bus
"public_transport=stop_position" are a work of fiction - when the train
length varies, the actual stop position will vary too.

"public_transport=platform" is essentially unconsumable - it sometimes
duplicates other features (https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/1052456874
, https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/185111479 ) sometimes it does not
https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/8942189900 .

Any remaining "pay_scale_area" will surely be no longer correct.

Best Regards,

Andy
