Hi there,
I wanted to let you know that I have scripts to look for duplicates
within a radius and check for name changes that I wrote for Kosovo
using the gns data.

I can modify that for haiti as well...

basic algorithm is to split up the OSM data into chunks,
then to pass over the data sorted by lat/long, using truncation of the
coordinates to merge items together.
