It is valid and good. But I think this is rare. There are 447 nodes that
have entrance + ref in Hungary (OverPass). If it's a "special case" (as
Attila referred to it), then I think StreetComplete should not ask users
to specify it at every entrance.

No, staircase code is not considered as part of the house number. But
most staircases have their own house number! Attila listed some cases
that are different, but I think a separated postal address for each
staircase is more common.

Either a there is a different number, or same number with a letter
component. But this is still a house number ("19/b") in Hungary. We have
mainly 3 types of house numbers:

1
1/a (e.g. when one plot is later split to more houses)
1-5 (e.g. when one long house takes the place of previously 1,3,5
numbered plots)

(Some OSM tools hate this "1-5", but we cannot do anything, this is
official house number (and thus postal address) in Hungary.)

Hope that makes it clearer. That also makes Polish style "range of
flats" list unnecessary, because if you tell 'I live in 19/b (house
number)' then that is the entrance to search for.

I hope we are not confusing you Mateusz. :)

Attila: if those are "special cases" then why would StreetComplete App
need to ask users to specify them? But you are right that we cannot
really decide this from just personal experiences of two mappers. :)
Some statistics would be better...

Best regards,
Feri
