I don't really think that temporary or even fixed speed camera zones or speed 
traps should be mapped.  However, I'm very much in favour of getting all 
permanently marked speed zones (signposts) mapped and into OSM.  

I find Mapillary ( http://www.mapillary.com/ ) to be a great tool for doing 
this and saves a lot of the remembering to do stuff (which I usually forget by 
the time I'm sitting in front of my computer).  The beauty of Mapillary is 
that other tasks can use the captured images, for example a source for road 
names/numbers or the locations of bus stops etc  It can help others out too, 
so killing numerous birds with the one stone :)

ITO have a nice map for visualizing speed zones, but I'm not sure how often it 
is updated (They did seem to suspend updates for a while there)
