The National library added OSM.org to their useful links page some time
ago, they have now added townlands.ie

Also to the the PCs visitors to their genealogy services area use.

Maybe more of us should ask any public library we walk pass to do the same,
particularly one with a local studies section. I have found many are
unaware of us and pleased with the information. BTW I introduce it as an
OpenStreetMap Resource, it gets a better reaction and they are less likely
to regard it as another Google-Map thing.
