Taking a look at https://www.education.ie/en/find-a-school it seems they have gone to substantial efforts to improve the data, with EirCode, Irish Grid, ITM and Digital degrees.


Fields are:

Secondary schools

  *   Academic Year
  *   Roll Number
  *   Official School Name
  *   Address
  *   County
  *   Eircode
  *   Local Authority
  *   Irish Grid
  *   ITM
  *   Digital degrees

Primary schools

  *   Roll Number
  *   Academic Year
  *   School Type
  *   Description
  *   Official Name
  *   Local Name
  *   Address
  *   County
  *   Eircode
  *   Local Authority
  *   Irish Grid
  *   ITM
  *   Digital degrees

Working out the licencing would need to be done, and of course, data quality.
