Hi
You might be right here .. the classifications used in the UK/Europe may not consistently correspond to actual road conditions in India.
And in practice, these road classifications aren't strictly applied elsewhere .. sometimes it's a matter of judgement.
There is also a tag "lanes", to record the number of lanes.
