No, except that satellite maps in India, which one can use
to mark roads, etc., are often not of the best quality.

As you wish. One monolithic file for an entire route is probably
more common. Waypoints can be translated into OSM locations.
You are based in Delhi, right? Maybe it is time for another
mapping party here. It is easier to share data, and instructions
with a bunch of people. Can people follow up here if there is
interest in a Delhi mapping party in the next couple of weeks.
