[Talk-in] Indic rendering

During the cartonama workshop, we discovered that Mapnik still has issues with rendering Indic fonts.

Artem has looked into a bit, but hasn't proceeded that far. Anyone knowledgeable in handling Indic fonts that might be able to advise?
