[Talk-in] Mapping without a smartphone : options + process?

Thanks for the tip regarding Garmin.
I particularly liked the Garmin eTrex 10, even the colour scheme is interesting (to me).
I also found GPSBabel (https://www.gpsbabel.org/) for preprocessing before moving data into JOSM/iD.
