[Talk-in] What are the Guidelines for mapping address information in India?

I'm looking into entering the address information for commercial shops in
OSM, along with their locations.

I have looked at the OSM wiki page:
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:addr:*

But this looks to be US centric, and does not appear to match how we write
addresses in India.

Take a typical address such as: 1B/2, Vikram Building CHS Ltd LBS Road Near
Shital Bus Stop, Bali Bajar, Kurla W Mumbai 400070, Mumbai, Maharashtra
400072

Based on the recommendations, I see that I can tag the following:

addr:housenumber=1B/2
addr:street=LBS Road
addr:city=Mumbai
addr:postcode=400070
addr:country=IN

Where do I add the following:
Vikram Building CHS Ltd (Name of the Building)
Shital Bus Stop (Nearest Landmark)
Bali Bajar (Sub Locality in Indian parlance)
Kurla W (Locality in Indian parlance)

Based on my experience with Indian addresses in my day job, I know that it
is next to impossible to search for locations without Locality, Sub
locality & Name of Buildings.

I know that this has been briefly discussed here:

Should we have an India Specific addressing scheme, similar to what we have
done for Highways: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/India/Tags/Highway

I'll be willing to volunteer to write up a proposal for this.
