[Talk-in] What are the Guidelines for mapping address information in India?

Hi Mateusz,

>Note addr:full

While this is a short term fix, I don't really like it, since any geocoding
engine would need components of an address and not the full string. This is
especially important in India, when the addressing system is
completely missing, and even humans have trouble breaking down the address
into its individual components.

>But is "Shital Bus Stop (Nearest Landmark)" really part of an address?
rather than hint?

Given what I know about Addresses, specially in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities
and towns, I would say that landmarks are an integral part of Addresses.
We don't have the system of numbers along a road, and even roads for that
matter may not have a name, or a unique name.

Devdatta
