[Talk-in] Request for Assistance in Uploading Jodhpur Master Plan 2031’s Landuse Data to OpenStreetMap

I hope this email finds you well. My name is Vijay, and I am a Town Planner
working with the Jodhpur Development Authority in Jodhpur, India. Our
authority is responsible for preparing and implementing the Master Plan for
the city, including horizon year landuse plans. Currently, we have
published a landuse plan for the year 2031, which we believe can benefit
from being made accessible to a larger audience through OpenStreetMap (OSM).

We aim to release this landuse data on OSM so that it can be utilized by
various stakeholders such as residents, developers, researchers, and
others. By making this data publicly accessible, we hope to enhance
transparency and awareness of the proposed landuse, which could help
mitigate issues like encroachment.

We have the landuse data available in shapefile and KML/KMZ formats.
However, I am not familiar with coding or technical processes required to
upload this data to OSM. I would greatly appreciate guidance or support
from the community in uploading this data correctly while adhering to OSM's
guidelines and standards.

Please let me know how we can proceed or if there are specific steps we
need to follow. Your assistance will be invaluable in ensuring that this
data is shared effectively with the community.
