長文注意

アイルランドのOpenStreetMapメンバーのグループは、７月２５日に
レソト王国（Lesotho；アフリカ南部の新興国）近郊エリアをマップする
マッパソンを開催することにしました。
我々は、イベントに参加する個人やグループを世界中から探しています。
現在、レソト, アイルランドおよびドイツから、３グループが参加することが決定しています。

HOTタスクマネージャを使用して、２つの主要実施項目に取り組みます。

１．Rural(地方・近郊）-居住区のアウトラインを特定し、マッピングします。
　それらの居住区と主要な地物（川、湖等）との主要道路を入力します。

２．都市 - ビルのトレースを行います。また、道路ネットワークを完成させます。


背景

Action Ireland Trust [1]と提携して、
Fingal County Council [2] からのアイルランドOSMメンバー数名が、
２０１３年の数週間と２０１４年の当初にレソトに旅行し、
OSMデータを用いた鉄道地域計画の支援を行いました。
これは、自治省（the Ministry for Local Government )と、首長（Chieftainship） と、
レソト王国建設計画長官（the Chief Physical Planner）の合意のもと実施されました。

この小旅行により、レソト王国とフィンガル地域役所（Fingal County Council ）[3]の間で、
歴史的意義のある覚書（MoU：memorandum of understanding）が締結されました。

その他のグループは、２０１５年初頭に、訪問の目的の一部として、以下の目的を設定し
旅行することにしています。

- OSMコミュニティをレソトに作り、地域のコミュニティと信頼関係を構築し、OSMを
　調査し更新するトレーニングと　ガイダンスを提供すること。
- みんなにつかえる国の基盤地図を創ること
- 意思決定者がつかう基本情報を構築すること
- 都市計画への理解を高めること
