I hope everyone enjoyed their Chuseok holidays, if they're living in Korea.
Personally, I took a bit of a hiatus during that period, but I'm back now.

There's been another case of Dokdo vandalism, but OSM DWG has taken care of
the problem.

I've been meaning to expand my efforts on adding admin borders for
so-called BSGEs, which would be Gun(counties) and Si(cities) for
Do(provinces), and Gun and Gu(districts) for metropolitan cities or the
equivalent. This is admin_level=6.

Last month, I mentioned that I completed them for Gyeonggi-do, and in the
process assigned or created townhalls (for admin_centre) and place nodes
(for label) for the respective areas. Nominatim seems to have worked out
the kinks and the searches for the area turns up more or less correct
general addresses.

As of today, Seoul and Incheon area have similar borders, townhalls, and
place nodes implemented. So effectively, "Sudogwon" area is done. I'm
noticing that user "mjhc" is actively working on Cheonan admin borders now,
so I'll be going east and work on Gangwon-do next.

추석 명절 잘 쇠셨는지요? 저는 이 기간 동안 손을 좀 놓고 있었습니다만, 이제 돌아왔습니다.

중간에 독도 지역 훼손 사례가 한 번 있었으나 OSM DWG 측에서 조치를 취했습니다.

저는 도/광역시 단위 행정구역 설정 작업 후 기초자치단체 수준의 행정구역 설정을 하려고 마음먹었습니다. 이렇게 되면 도 내의 군, 시가
해당되고, 광역시 내의 군, 구가 해당됩니다. admin_level=6입니다.

그래서 지난 달 언급했듯이 경기도에 대해 작업을 실제로 했습니다. 그리고 각 군, 시에 대한 군/시청 (admin_centre 태그됨)
노드는 물론 장소 노드 (label 태그됨)까지 동시에 정비를 하게 되었습니다. 그 결과 검색엔진인 Nominatim에서 이제 대체로
정상적으로 지역 검색 후 대략의 주소 표출이 정상적으로 되고 있습니다.

오늘 서울과 인천 지역도 동일한 작업이 완료됨으로써 수도권 지역의 기초자치단체 행정구역 작업은 완료가 되었습니다. mjhc님이 천안시
행정구역 부분을 작업하는 걸로 확인된 바, 저는 동쪽에 있는 강원도를 다음으로 작업할 예정입니다.
