To render a one-way route correctly on a map it is actually necessary to
split the roundabout.

Joining currently split roundabouts has no real benefit, especially if
someone else has to split them up again later for the routes. If you are
drawing a completely new roundabout then feel free to draw it as one
way, but please leave the existing ones as they are.
