Hi, 'Ia ora na!
Starting the presentation with myself, I am Violaine and live in Tahiti
(French polynesia), and am originally from France (Europe). My native
language is french so I might do few mistakes in english. I promote OSM
here with 2 caps, as a volunteer and as a professionnal in GIS (À Vos
Cartes). I do love sharing OSM with any public, especially for inclusion
purpose thanks to its potential of empowerment. I worked for the local
government for sharing their geographical data into OSM (great
challenge!) and now I am working on a project for mapping accessibility
in/with OSM.
Hope this list will bring us together around our many OSM / open mapping
challenges in the Pacific!
I am very happy that we now have a channel of discussion for our islands,
Have all a great great day/end of day,
Violaine (Violaine_Do)
