Hi Dan.

Those that are on the Philippine mapping conventions are mostly those tags
that are unique to Philippine setting; and where most of the time, hardly
could not be seen from the wiki or Filipinos may have a hard time trying to
think about the corresponding equivalent to international OSM tags.

Yet we still refer to the other OSM tags not listed on the PH mapping
convention.

As for your questions:
I'm not sure about how to tag a public gripo/faucet/spigot connected to a
pipe network? > *amenity=drinking_water*

+ Is it important to include diameter=* (diameter in millimeters) so that
there is no confusion between the small water pipes being mapped and the
larger pipes more commonly mapped with this tag?
+ Is there a key that could be used with values metal/pvc to give the
material the pipe is made from?

We have no standard for this yet as we don't usually tag it with these
info. It would be best time to discuss it.
