Hi,
We are also discussing on talk-ke how to import the new boundaries for
counties, wards and constituencies. Mikel Maron has created shapefiles from
the IEBC data, but we need clearance from the IEBC to use it according to
the OSM license, which is easier said than done.
We have also looked at correcting the national boundaries from the US
Department of State: https://hiu.state.gov/data/data.aspx. Those boundaries
are a lot more detailed for Kenya than the current ones. Not sure about
Uganda.
Regards,
Daniel
