The 911 address database has locations (or tries to have locations) right down to the entry door. So if you have a two-unit building with two addresses and one entrance in front and one entrance in back, those entrances will have separate data points at the entrances. The reason, of course, is so that first responders don’t waste time trying to locate the correct entrance. Importing this database and setting up a programmatic routine for updating it regularly would seem to be the best practice.
