Canada Goose 450 One very small silvery one (even compared to the tiny
northern migrants) not observed very well, but bill looked a bit too long
for a CACG. Also a partially leucistic (dilute) bird.

Blackpoll Warbler 1 *late: Strong “zeep” flight call heard at tower.
Yellow-rumped Warbler (Myrtle) 4
Black-throated Green Warbler 1 **very late: First detected by
unassuming “chip” (sharper and less husky than PAWA, less liquid and higher
pitched than YRWA, and softer and less piercing than BLPW) from feeding
flock below tower. Eventually showed itself; lemony green back and crown,
yellow face with a faint green auricular, and white wing bars. After a few
seconds we lost it, but still heard a few times afterwards from farther
into the red-maple swamp on the edge of the marsh.
