OOPS. Sorry about the bird list. However, if you'd like a nice place to
visit try Great Meadows in Concord MA.
I've been looking at the Mass Address Data a lot lately. I started by
working Yury's file of Mass Address Data points that don't match anything
in OSM. Martha's Vineyard was a disaster, looking like an old TIGER import.
It took weeks to fix. As long as I was fixing it, I decided to add
addr:streetnumber and addr:street to buildings that matched Mass Address
Data Points having a status of Active, Linked and Modified and a Point Type
of BC (building centroid. I did small sections at a time and verified as
best I could. The JOSM *Address Tag Validator* (Edit-Preferences-Map
Settings-Map Paint Styles-Address Tag Validator) was very helpful. It
highlights all the buildings with the same addr:street with the same color
used on the name of the street. A nice visual presentation.
If anyone wants to check the results see Oak Bluffs or Edgartown. Not all
the buildings will have addresses because I'm ignoring Status or Point_type
tags that look a little iffy to me.
