Greetings!
One other source of data came to my mind -- MA parcel data (L3) -- which
can be used for validating the quality of imported MAD points.
So, I suggest an additional criterion for Phase 1: we import only address
points that are within L3 parcels with the same addresses. Recently I've
merged MAD and L3 layers for Boston to find that nearly 300K of MAD points
out of 400K pass this check, but another 100K of MAD points need more
scrutiny (the problem with Boston is that L3 for Boston has only one field
with addresses like "154 158 W SECOND ST, 02127" which makes it somewhat
hard to directly compare them to more structured MAD addresses).
What do you think?
