Is there a way (or is just not valuable to) tag the pile of sand & salt
that our town provides for residents to use during the winter? It seems
a useful landmark and destination someone might want to know how to find
(I know it took me a little bit to find), but it's just a big pile
outside the old highway barn that someone can bring a shovel and a
couple buckets to in order to get a sand/salt mix to use on walkways and
such. (I assume other towns do similar things?)
The closest I can find in the wiki is amenity=grit_bin, but that seems
to indicate a "bin" (from the description and pictures), and I don't
think is really the same concept (though it might be how a similar
problem is solved in other areas/countries?) Something like natural=sand
seems like it's even further away from what I'm looking for.
Or in the absence of a specific tag, is just having a point with a name=
of some sort the right way to do this?
Thanks.
