Parcel boundaries are just often lines drawn on a map, and only
sometimes are stone walls and physical features. Also, with roads, the
legal extent of the road is often not aligned with the pavement, except
that usually the pavement is within the legal extent. Around me,
pavement, old stone walls, and legal extent (from a mid-century taking)
are 3 separate locations. You certainly can't see the legal extend on
LIDAR. Even on the ground and if you know what to look for, it's hard
to find the monuments.

LIDAR shows changes in elevation. Trails that are not higher or lower
than surrounding areas will not show. I find that old trails (decades)
that have had erosion show clearly, and new trails not very much.
