[Talk-us] Getting data from ArcIMS servers

Oh cool. Do you know how to determine if the server is indeed running
the WMS Connector and what the URL would be? I found a "how to
configure" page about the connector which seems to indicate that it
should live at /servlet/com.esri.wms.Esrimap but the county server
(gis.rileycountyks.gov) returns an error for that URL.
By the looks of it, my county is running an older version of ArcIMS. I
did specifically mention that it would be cool if they had a WMS
server and that's when I was directed at ArcExplorer. I'm not sure how
technical the person I'm talking to is so she may just not know. The
county currently doesn't have a GIS director so I'm kind of trying to
figure out as much as possible on my own until they hire a new
director at which point I may be able to get permission/access to use
more than just imagery.
