While Zeke makes an excellent point here ("Grand Republic..." ewww!), let's please not use two-letter-state abbreviations (like VT for Vermont), instead MUCH preferring "Vermont" (fully spelled out), that is IF the name=* tag is being used.  Please use the short_name=* key if you want to abbreviate a value.

See, even amongst ourselves, this can have rough edges!
