Thanks for the information.
One bit of caution. I have seen many edits in OSM, including a few from
Mapbox, where edits are made solely to make an error go away. In other
words, it is not clear in the available sources what ground truth is, so
the mapper simply makes an edit such that the error no longer shows up,
even if that means OSM data may not reflect truth. In these cases one
should leave the error, perhaps with a note, so that a local mapper with
first hand knowledge can make the true correction. For example, I have
seen cases where a road crosses a waterway and it is not clear in the
available imagery whether there is a bridge, culvert or ford. This
triggers an error, so a mapper simply adds a ford to make the error go
away. This is worse than doing nothing.
Also, on the wiki page, it is not clear what you mean by "We completely
switched to automatic uploading and searching for data errors.", even
though earlier you stated that this was a manual process.
