This is nice ivory tower talk.  There are way too many sensitive sites 
for the tribes, or the government to 'Secure'.
This is a tough issue though.  I generally agree that all trails should 
be mapped, but not so sure about everything.
I'm not commenting on this particular issue, I'm not local to that area, 
and don't know the details.
