[Talk-us] TIGER 2022 PLACE dataset

Here I've found a map where it is possible to view CDPs and select them to
view their population: https://data.census.gov/map. It is a bit
complicated because the tool appears to contain a massive amount of
demographic information. Finding just the population isn't entirely
straightforward. You have to select the places layer (out of many
options). Then select a dataset from the Decennial Census such as Race
(even if you're just interested in total population). If you don't filter
to a specific race, then you can see total population when selecting a
CDP. It's a somewhat cumbersome user interface, but it's the best I've
found so far.

I've also used this map which I find much easier to navigate. It shows
states, counties, and census tracts, but not CDPs.
