Right.  I just bought myself a GPS.  It is an HAiCOM GPS HI-204E.  It
support NMEA-0183 v2.20.  A specification is available from
<URL:http://www.haicom.com.tw/gps204E.htm>.  It is said to support
WAAS and EGNOS.  I have no idea what that is, but paid some extra to
get it included. :)

I'm testing it now.  gpsdrive was able to talk to it, but I don't get
a position.  It seem to be unable to get signals from enough
satellites.  But I do see the list of detected satellites changing, so
I believe the communication is working.

Is the source of your setup available?  I'm getting closer, and would
like to have a look. :)
