My spec is and old laptop running gpsd from gpsdrive and a usb gps
mouse. then some java code connects to gpsd, gets the position and dumps
this into mysql. On the laptop with two batteries I get 7 hours life
from this.

I have wifi cards for both the laptop and the zaurus, but how to enter
data from the zaurus to the laptop is undecided. I was thinking of using
a browser on the zaurus and a little web server on the laptop...
