[Openstreetmap] European Roads?

there are rather few free sources
I've found only streetmaps of Berlin (bbbike.sf.net) and
Osnabrück (http://frida.intevation.org/)

I have a large collection of GPS-Tracks mainly in the Rhein-Main Area
and Autobahn Tracks from other areas in Germany split to street-level
segments and classified.

I'd like to contribute those Tracks to the openstreetmap project,
but I need to get an approval by my employer to work on open source
projects (even in my free time).
I've postponed the application for that approval until we have a "final" 
Licence for OpenStreetmap Data. (The question pops up from time to time,
but wasn't resolved yet - did I miss something?)
