[Openstreetmap] Are there any guides for creating common road layouts?

Hey, I drew the Hemel Hempstead Magic Roundabout on OpenStreetMap the 
other day.

Co-incidentally, some maps get it wrong, and think you can only drive 
around it one way, when you can drive around the collection of mini 
roundabouts as a whole in either direction.

How about "Spaghetti Junction" in Birmingham, aka
Gravelly Hill Interchange?

There's no way that you're going to be able to represent _that_ with a 
single node.
