One thing that could be interesting to do together is to mount all 
participants' GPS receivers in one car and drive around to log the 
same track (same road, same time, same speed) with different 
receivers, and then compare the log files.

User:Ka-Ka used a Garmin GPS60C with the automatic interval 
setting to log long roads in northern Sweden, but the yellow dots 
are sometimes so far apart that it is hard to draw the map from 
this track.  I too have a Garmin (Foretrex 201) and use the 
automatic interval, but the yellow dots from my tracks are never 
so far apart.  We both use the "highest resolution" setting.
