According to Wikipedia[1] the work must show some "skill, originality
and work", so I guess it depends on the definition of that. I would
suspect that merely adding _false_ information would probably not count
as that. However, something as trivial as colour correcting the scan
would probably qualify.
I think you would have to check with the publishers of the reprint to be
sure, and they're unlikely to encourage you to use their product.
