[Openstreetmap] Borough boundary

Hi All,

I'm new to this list so please forgive me for any newbie errors!

Anyway, reason for the post is that I've been playing around with Google maps a
lot, originally with plotting points, then plotting lines. So, I decided to try
and do something a bit larger and more difficult & decided to plot out the
boundaries of my borough using publicly available borough boundary information.
I used this web page ( http://mapki.com/index.php?title=Get_Lon_Lat )to report
lat/longs for each point I needed, which I then built up into a complete
borough boundary for Wandsworth:

So, I guess the big question is, is this legal and is it of any use. I saw a
previous discussion about derived works which made me wonder. I used google
maps to report individual lat/long points as I mention, as I don't have time to
go round in a car to collect them (plus a lot of places would be
difficult/dangerous to reach. Details on the points can be viewed using View ->
Source.

Thoughts? Suggestions?
